Lupride Depot 22.50 mg contains Leuprolide Acetate, a synthetic gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) agonist used primarily in the treatment of hormone-responsive cancers, such as prostate cancer in men and certain conditions Endometriosis and uterine fibroids common in women.

• Prostate Cancer: Lupride Depot 22.50 mg is commonly used in men to treat advanced prostate cancer by lowering the levels of testosterone, which can slow the growth of cancer cells.

• Endometriosis: In women, it is used to manage endometriosis, a condition where tissue similar to the lining of the uterus grows outside the uterus, causing pain and other symptoms.

• Uterine Fibroids: Lupride Depot can also be used to shrink uterine fibroids, noncancerous growths in the uterus, by reducing estrogen levels.

How It Works

Leuprolide Acetate works by overstimulating the body’s production of certain hormones, which leads to a temporary shutdown of hormone production.

In men, it reduces testosterone levels, and in women, it reduces estrogen levels. This decrease in hormone levels helps to control the growth of hormone-dependent tumors and conditions.

Dosage
