Bimat 3 ml is used to treat raised pressure in eye care in patients suffering from open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension. An eye condition called glaucoma damages the optic nerve. The eye pressure rises abnormally as a result of this injured nerve.
Bimat Eye Drops contain 3 ml of Bimatoprost, a prostaglandin analogue. It works by increasing the production of aqueous humor (fluid in the eye) and lowering eye pressure.
This medicine may cause some side effects, such as eye irritation and in some cases Conjunctival Hyperemia (eye irritation). Most of these side effects of Bimat Eye Drops 3 ml are temporary, do not require medical treatment, and resolve gradually over time. However, if side effects persist, consult your doctor.
