Azipro 500 Mg is used to treat Viral Infections of the chest, throat, and nose, such as bronchitis, pneumonia, tonsillitis, sore throat, and sinusitis, which are mild to moderately susceptible and are brought on by bacteria and other microorganisms. Additionally, it is utilized to treat affected persons’ skin and soft tissue infections as well as ear infections.
It contains Azithromycin, a medication that falls under the class of drugs known as antibiotics and functions by stopping the growth of bacteria and aiding in the healing of the infection.
Patients allergic to azithromycin, other antibiotics like erythromycin/clarithromycin, and ketolides should not take Azipro 500 mg tablet. Additionally, people with a history of cholestatic jaundice or hepatic impairment should not use it.
