Overview

Acivir DT 400 Mg is an antiviral medicine used to treat various viral infections. Several viral infections can be treated with this medicine. They include herpes labialis, herpes simplex, shingles, genital herpes infections, and Chickenpox. By preventing the multiplication of viruses in human cells, it helps to rid the body of infections caused by viruses.

Herpes virus is slower to grow and spread within the body when treated with this drug. There is no cure for herpes and no way of preventing others from getting infected with this infection. Dosage
